Pack-A-Thon Volunteers Needed!

The 2010 Pack-A-Thon is Saturday, September 25 at Opportunity Enterprises, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Reserve your spot today by registering on-line today.

Bring your scout troop, corporate team, youth group, sports team, school club members, and friends and family, and join 800 other community volunteers as we pack over 45,000 runner bags for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Ages 8 and up are welcome.

Music will be provided by a DJ. Pizza and drinks will be served for lunch. Come early, stay late. We need everyone's help the entire time--no "morning only" or "afternoon only" shifts will be available this year.

3rd Annual "One Amazing Golf Outing"

Open registration for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is officially closed, but you can still sign up through OE. Don't miss your opportunity to run the race on 10/10/10!
Fee Structure:  $150 to register plus a commitment to raise an additional $350 for OE
Benefits of Team Membership:  18-week training program for runners of all abilities and group training runs with water stops throughout the summer, use of exclusive race day tent in Charity Village, transportation to and from Northwest Indiana on race day, pasta dinner and post race party during race weekend, team shirt, weekly newsletter containing training tips and information.

The third annual “One Amazing Golf Outing” will take place on Monday, Aug. 23 at Valparaiso Country Club.

The outing features an 18-hole scramble format with an entry price of $125 per golfer, or $500 for a foursome.  In addition to playing on one of Northwest Indiana’s finest private golf courses, each golfer will receive:

  • Welcome bag;
  • 18 holes of golf with a golf cart;
  • Grab-and-play lunch;
  • Premium beer, soda and water during the outing; and
  • Steak dinner following the outing, with a cash bar.
